Fit Life Gym, Kalamaria: a virtual tour of a personal training gym
In Agios Ioannis, Kalamaria, Fit Life is a personal training gym that is not judged by its list of machines, but by how the space feels to be in.
The tour opens outside on Konstantinou Karamanli Avenue, in front of the yellow calisthenics rig on the pavement. It moves through the glass-fronted reception and into the main training floor: free weights, racks, dumbbells, machines and cardio, rings and TRX, full-length mirrors and exposed ductwork overhead. On the lower level are the changing rooms with their tall timber lockers, the showers and the washrooms.
The standout feature is the semi-outdoor training yard: artificial turf beneath a timber roof, with a tractor tyre, sled lanes, a rowing machine and the "FitLife Exclusive Fitness" wall. It is the kind of space a single photograph struggles to convey, and the reason a 360° tour works so well here.
